THE VISION
I spent many nights with The Lord in prayer the winter of 2020. I walked my backfields every night in the rain, snow and cold as He drew me to Him. When that season came to an end, I set pondering our nights together. One particular night, The Lord showed me a spectacular vision of the West Virginia mountains.
As I looked, I saw a woman lying on her back. She was the size of the entire state. She was nestled in the hills- just lying there. Then I saw her rise up! She was wearing an apron and I knew she was Mountain Momma.
She stood fierce and strong. I knew in my spirit that she was going after her children. She had enough! As I sat looking at her, Holy Spirit revealed to me that she comprised of many mothers and grandmothers. Together they formed ONE Mountain Momma. She was the Momma Bears, Lionesses and the Mother Hens (eagles) that roamed these hills. Together they were engaging in the fight for families!

THE CALL
The Lord is calling mothers, grandmothers, sons and daughters to come together and fight for families. The enemy has declared war on our families and we must respond. We are an army, a mighty army, with a heart for families. It is time. It is time to rise up! Together we can take this field- the field of our families!
The Lord is calling us to walk our backfields in prayer and intercession. He is asking us to step out on our front porches and prophesy to the wind, trusting the winds of Holy Spirit to carry our words and hit target! He is drawing many of us to creeks and rivers to worship Him, believing that worship will fill our entire state! You, yes you, are being called to take part in the harvest of families.
The only place we need to find ourselves is following Jesus. He is here to save, heal and set the captives free. You have a part in the harvesting. You are His. Whatever He asks of you, great or small, do it. He is The Lord of The Harvest and He is after your family! Will you follow Him?
I wholeheartedly believe that The Lord will hear your prayers. It is a reality that a grandmother can bow at her sofa with her grandchildren and lead them to Salvation. We can see our families come to know Christ and rescued from the devil's grip. We must rise!

Mountain Momma Rising ministry is committed to building strong women, encouraging her in the fight for her family, ministering healing to the battle weary and raising strong sons and daughters of the faith. We aim to enlighten you with weapons of war needed for your fight. Through in-person gatherings (private and public), podcasts, blogs, teaching videos and more we are here to fight for all families!

Mountain Momma Rising is a ministry of Becky Keener Ministries, Inc. We are under the Apostolic covering of Applachia Prayer Center Ministries, located in Jesse, WV, founded and led by Apostle Jay Morgan. We are in close association with the West Virginia Prayer Alliance and Restoration Fellowship Church, located in Mt. Nebo, WV.

Becky Keener and her husband, Jim, have been married since 1993 and reside in Summersville, West Virginia. They have two young adult children, Casey (wife Martina) and BreAnn (husband Jack). They are the proud grandparents of two precious baby boys and look forward to having many more.
Becky is an Ordained minister with Appalachia Prayer Center ministries and graduated from the Assemblies of God, Appalachia District School of Ministry. She is a part of the West Virginia Prayer Alliance and is one of the regional Coordinators for the network. As a friend of Appalachia Prayer Center Ministries located in Jesse, WV and member of Restoration Fellowship Church located in Mt. Nebo, WV, Becky preaches, teaches. and flows prophetically in spoken words and intercession. She is the author of two books, 'From Pitiful to Beautiful: Intimacy with The Lord' and 'Midwife.' Becky has lead women's ministries since 2003. She is the face and visionary behind Mountain Momma Rising, a ministry comprised of mothers and grandmothers committed to following Jesus into the harvesting of West Virginia families. |

Krista Lesher and her husband, Joey, have been married since 1998 and reside in Lansing, WV. They have 3 young adult children, Dallas (wife Kaitlyn), Kiera and Cordell (wife, Victoria).
Krista studied at Appalachian District School of Ministry and completed 2 years of discipleship and mentoring through The Cadre, led by International Speaker and Author, Jeanne Mayo. She served as a Youth Pastor for 18 years and as Church Administrator. Krista is the face and visionary for Expect the Outpouring which sparked the Summersville Outpouring Revival (West Virginia) in 2019. Many were saved, healed, and set free. She traveled and served as Field Pastor, Spiritual Mom, Secretary, and Worshiper for Nik Walker Ministries. Krista is the founder and director of Isaiah 42 Ministries, a ministry to propel the Gospel through prophetic words, encouragement, exhortation and "live" messages. Krista is a Mountain Momma and currently assists in Mountain Momma Rising-WV. She is a Coordinator for the WV Prayer Alliance and is family to Appalachia Prayer Center located in Jesse, WV. Krista is a member of Restoration Fellowship Church and preaches, teaches and assists in Prayer Gatherings throughout WV. |
