Pressing In: The Fire That Heals There is a call to go deeper. A call to press into the heart of God like never before. What He is doing is deep, transformative, and refining. But it comes with a cost. In this process, He is revealing the truth: without Him, the weight of your calling would crush you. He’s asking for all of you. Not just the easy parts, but the brokenness, the stuck places, the wounds you’ve kept hidden. The fire you feel isn’t here to destroy you but to purify you, stripping away the fear, pain, and scars that have held you back. He’s inviting you to stand as His warrior Daughter, healed and whole, ready for the battles ahead. But this readiness requires surrender. It requires trust. It requires a willingness to let Him bind up your wounds and cast them far away. This season may feel like the furnace—intense, unrelenting, and overwhelming. Yet the Lord reminds us of His promises: just as He stood with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fire, so He stands with you. The flames will not consume you. You are coming out refined, renewed, and transformed. Not even the smell of smoke will cling to you. Your trauma will no longer feel like your story—it will feel like someone else’s, because His healing will be so complete, so profound, that you’ll scarcely recognize the pain you once carried. As His oil pours over you, from head to toe, it will create a barrier—a shield to guard your heart and mind from the enemy. His healing oil will anoint you, not just for your healing, but for the healing of others. When He touches your lips, life will flow from your words. When He renews your mind, His healing balm will flow through your thoughts. The fragrance of His presence will emanate from you, touching the broken and bringing His restoration to their wounds. “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” — James 1:2-3 This is His call: press in. Press into His presence. Press into His healing. Press into the secret place where He is waiting for you. He is ready to pour out His healing oil, to clothe you in His strength, and to prepare you for what is to come. The fire may seem intense, but it is only an illusion. The truth is this: He is with you, and you are being made new. Prayer: Lord, I surrender to Your refining fire. I press into You, trusting that what You are doing in me is preparing me for greater things. Heal my wounds, renew my mind, and pour Your oil over me. Make me a vessel of Your healing, that I may bring Your hope and restoration to the broken around me.
