The Winter is Over/Come Away with Me

The Winter Is Over/Come Away With Me

In the midst of recovering from a recent surgery and stepping straight into the holidays, life has been so busy that I haven’t had time to just sit in my prayer room. Today, I was playing Monopoly with the kids when I turned on worship on the TV. I was enjoying our family togetherness but longing to be in His presence. As I turned on the music I simply said, Holy Spirit, I miss You. Will You come sit with me?

Instantly, I felt His presence. Joy filled me. We played the game for a while, as I enjoyed His presence in the room. My heart in tune with the worship streaming. The Lord began to show me some things on the horizon.

As this conversation with Him unfolded He said; “It is time to go to the next level. I led you into a time of promises realized and in that place I ask you to follow my lead. To let me lay the foundation of what I was about to build. It was almost effortless as you stepped into the new place. I have been near. My presence reigned and I have stirred the waters of expectancy, of hope, of new life. I have resurrected what was dormant, dying and dead in the physical and spiritual realm. My breath of life came.

Now it is time to move to the next level of what I am doing and calling my people into. It is time to till the land you have entered…

Tilling the land represents our responsibility as God's stewards to care for creation, symbolizing diligent labor, sustenance, and a partnership with God for growth

The Hebrew word for "tilling" can also mean "serving," suggesting an active, devoted work. It encompasses the whole process from plowing to harvest, emphasizing dedication…

“This new ground is fertile for my rain that is going to bring forth every seed planted. There is a time for sowing and a time for reaping. This is the season of the reaping. This is the new season you waited for. You held on for. You believed for. It is here.

You will witness before you what was once thought to be impossible become possible. You will see the masses come to me and enter my kingdom seeking me in spirit and in truth. You will call on me and I will be there. You will see miracles and come into healing of the heart, mind, and body like in days of long ago and of times not yet seen. You are going to come into a new dimension of my kingdom reality and freedom. What once held you back will no longer. What once was an obstacle will crumble before you as you step forward. There will be ease in your step as you discover new dimensions of you and me. Our intimacy will grow according to the measure of your belief for all I am about to do. I am calling my bride to the bridal chamber. Come away with me and I will show you who I am. And you will know who you are.”

Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away, for behold, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come. Song of Solomon 2:10-13
